What Are Your Operating Hours?
We are open 7 days a week from 9:30:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Is There a Limit to the Number of People That Can Go on a Boat?
Yes, each boat has a maximum capacity that cannot be exceeded for safety reasons. The maximum capacity varies depending on the size and type of the boat.
Where Do We Depart From?
All charters embark and disembark at the Port Authority dock located downtown along the Detroit Riverwalk. Detailed boarding instructions are provided after booking.
When Should We Arrive Before Departure?
Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes prior to departure. This allows time for check-in, boarding, and a brief safety orientation before we depart on time.
What Happens in Case of Bad Weather?
Safety always comes first. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, we will work with you to reschedule or provide alternative options in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Is Food Included on All Cruises?
Food and beverage offerings vary by charter type. Some public cruises include light catering, while private and corporate charters offer customizable catering options. Details will be outlined at the time of booking.
Can Guests Bring Their Own Food or Drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted onboard. All food and beverage service is provided through Detroit Charter Company to ensure safety, quality, and a seamless onboard experience.
Can We Add Photo, Video, or Branding Services to Our Charter?
Yes. Photo and video coverage, branded gear, flags, banners, and other custom enhancements are available for select charters and racing programs. Please inquire for details.
What Should We Wear?
Comfortable, weather-appropriate attire is recommended, such as a hat and sunglasses. Non-marking soft-soled shoes are preferred. Layers are encouraged, especially for evening or sunset cruises.
Is the Vessel Safe for Children?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. Life jackets are available, and children are welcome on many charters. Please let us know in advance if children will be onboard.
Are Restrooms Available Onboard?
Yes. Our vessels HYDRA and TRIDENT are equipped with onboard restrooms for guest convenience.
